The audience was convinced that Kıraç Şahbazoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Gentza was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, FC PERINEO's Kıraç Şahbazoğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Gentza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Rossi got free with Angelo Matxin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Zenith St. Petersburgo's Martin Sayveon got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Zenith St. Petersburgo's Baldomero Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kıraç Şahbazoğlu in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half FC PERINEO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kıraç Şahbazoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Noworolnik kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Baldomero Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kıraç Şahbazoğlu in the 58th minute of play. Kıraç Şahbazoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Kıraç Şahbazoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Gentza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Kıraç Şahbazoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Daniel Noworolnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Belo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zenith St. Petersburgo's zone, Kıraç Şahbazoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Gentza came out of the goal and Kıraç Şahbazoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Celso Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Matxin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zenith St. Petersburgo's Martin Sayveon. But to his dismay, Martin Sayveon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Baldomero Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kıraç Şahbazoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Urritz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
