In the 41stth minute of the game Jose Balasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Litle Ghost's Hernan Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rolando Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the New P fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Chorache couldn't finish the play. The supporters of New P booed when Litle Ghost was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Olavo Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. New P's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Balasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
