Cayetano Luix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 41 minutes, Timoteo Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilecito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Elia Pedrelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tadeo Chap was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 54 played minutes Pedernales FC got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Chap. If Timoteo Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Francisco Kelemen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gian Buffon. Chilecito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Kelemen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Timoteo Montay came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chilecito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Montay couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pedernales FC's Orlando Claus got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Pedrelli got free with Cayetano Luix in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Chilecito FC's Timoteo Montay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cayetano Luix. That made the score 1-3 after 87 minutes of play. Elia Pedrelli struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Cayetano Luix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilecito FC. Elia Pedrelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Cayetano Luix made a huge save.
