Baltasar Harkaitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Froilan Pes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Amador Beltza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Froilan Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Club Atletico Colón got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Pes. 32 minutes into the match, Amancio Iraunkor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Harkaitz. Sunchal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Iraunkor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Sunchal's Joaquin Rey got a free kick in the 37th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Amancio Iraunkor sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Pes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Harkaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Azeari was the one to do the kick off. Baltasar Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Club Atletico Colón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Vinicio Azeari scored to the left of an out of position Primitivo Aznar, making the score, 2-1. Baltasar Harkaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Baltasar Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute, Amancio Iraunkor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico Colón had played much better football throughout.
