Guañizul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Cordaryal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Henric came free, but Jared Mcjunkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Azeari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jared Mcjunkins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Nestor Eron's late challenge caught a Sunchal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Eron helped the player get up and apologised. Jared Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Henric in the 41st minute of play. Jared Mcjunkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Amador Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guañizul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunchal the free kick. Amador Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Guañizul's Jared Mcjunkins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Guañizul from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Ciriaco Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jared Mcjunkins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinicio Azeari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Azeari came free, but Jared Mcjunkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Sunchal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guañizul throughout the match.
