After a rather tough play, River Plate's Denílson Tepedino got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Odilon in the 19th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Rui Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Barral made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sebastian Brun sent off a good shot on target. Bernabe Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rui Barral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Brun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Dante Mede came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Teo Rebellon. But to his dismay, Teo Rebellon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bernabe Azeari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Azeari in the 44th minute of the match. River Plate's Bernabe Azeari managed to work through Tigres Blancos F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bernabe Azeari dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Odilon to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Bernabe Azeari from a close distance when the talented Dante Mede managed to make a qualified save. Tigres Blancos F.C's players were relieved. Bernabe Azeari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dante Mede made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Camilo Jaume sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dante Mede threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Camilo Jaume this time. 60 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Evarado came free, but Rui Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tigres Blancos F.C's Dante Mede got control of the ball when Bernabe Azeari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Abaunza's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Abaunza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Tigres Blancos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. Dante Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Rebellon in the 69th minute of play. Rui Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Camilo Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Rigoberto Rami sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Barral skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Etxahun during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Niceto Etxahun got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Francisco Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Rebellon in the 90th minute of play forced Tigres Blancos F.C's goalkeeper Dante Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Rebellon in the 95th minute of play. Bernabe Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Mede having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
