Silvestre Diagur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Andrada's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Joaquin Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Silvestre Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Andrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Cacho Castaña Club Pirata got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Rito. Luís Andrada scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Diagur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Andrada in the 19th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ernesto Jaume got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvestre Diagur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Joaquin Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Dantae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Jaen was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Andrada got free with Silvestre Diagur in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Andrada had several of the Cacho Castaña Club Pirata's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Silvestre Diagur as he didn't even see the shot coming.
