Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cirilo Clodio got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Buinton during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alberti AFC booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Intxixu came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Ricardo Mergildo. But to his dismay, Ricardo Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Justino Abechuco's late challenge caught a WINNING ELEVEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. Damaso Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto-Carlos Perrando in the 19th minute of the match. Damaso Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alberti AFC's Cipriano Piearres got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When WINNING ELEVEN's Ricardo Mergildo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alberti AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Soin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 31 minutes on the clock, Gogo Natanael commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 31st minute, one of Alberti AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alberti AFC. In the 37th minute, Justino Abechuco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and WINNING ELEVEN's Jeronimo Henric didn't even have to move. Domingos Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jeronimo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Soin in the 45th minute of play forced Alberti AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Mergildo was the one to do the kick off. Julio Firme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Henric having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ricardo Mergildo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Intxixu. Bartolo Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jeronimo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julio Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mergildo in the 64th minute of play forced Alberti AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Damaso Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Intxixu having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Cipriano Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Alberti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Iago to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Maximino Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Julio Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Mergildo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Intxixu. Damaso Intxixu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Mergildo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Intxixu saved Alberti AFC from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Ricardo Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Alberti AFC defense, Alvaro Soin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Intxixu. The Alberti AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Intxixu should have stopped the shot. When the match was over WINNING ELEVEN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alberti AFC throughout the match.
