After a rather tough play, Maquinistas Navales's Paolo Lixandro got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Refugio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Maquinistas Navales got a freekick which was hit by Marco Refugio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Tome in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Frascuelo saved Maquinistas Navales from getting behind. Paolo Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Marco Refugio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sacale la uña FC's Pedro Irrintzi. Pedro Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Refugio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Irrintzi saved Sacale la uña FC from getting behind. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Patrik Engström came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sacale la uña FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Engström couldn't finish the play. If Paolo Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Burni hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Clodoveo Tome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maquinistas Navales's Ivan Frascuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sacale la uña FC booed when Maquinistas Navales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maquinistas Navales fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sacale la uña FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
