The audience thought a goal was coming when John Arenius got free with Domingo Beila in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Truylos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Domingo Beila made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Astor Presebal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PokerStars's Domingo Beila. Domingo Beila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Astor Presebal took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Domingo Beila to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute, Astor Presebal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laferrere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Astor Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Laferrere booed when PokerStars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Presebal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Domingo Beila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, PokerStars's goalkeeper Domingo Beila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Presebal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Presebal to make the kick off. Laferrere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Manuel Isauro scored to the left of an out of position Fermin Enekoitz, making the score, 5-1. Astor Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Domingo Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Presebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Beila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Presebal ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Truylos in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Laferrere's Nereo Truylos made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Beila was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Astor Presebal notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of PokerStars's Domingo Beila. Domingo Beila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Aaron Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Laferrere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Vedillo couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Astor Presebal sped through PokerStars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Beila.
