Christian Manuelo came out of the goal and Albino Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Godofredo Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Omero in the 33rd minute of play forced Landeta FC's goalkeeper Rolando Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Jairo Ekain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Christian Manuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Ramirez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Evelio Erasto sent off a good shot on target. When Aureliano Macias fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunampa AFC's protests and gave Aureliano Macias a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Ekain spun around in front of the goal 43 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sunampa AFC's goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Ekain made a kick off. Sunampa AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Albino Satordi scored to the left of an out of position Christian Manuelo, making the score, 1-2. Jairo Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Manuelo having to make a save. If Jairo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jairo Ekain might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Manuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Ekain ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Satordi in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sunampa AFC's Braulio Palben got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Landeta FC's Rolando Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Bortzaioriz in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jairo Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landeta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Manuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Jairo Ekain could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Christian Manuelo however easily saved by the left post. If Albino Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Landeta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Maties to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Damian Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
