Christian Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Erasto's late challenge caught a Villa Laguna F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Erasto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sunampa AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Evelio Erasto hit a great ball. Dante Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Ruperto Rozarius made a precise shot to the right of Christian Manuelo. Sunampa AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Christian Manuelo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Laguna F. C.'s Ruperto Rozarius. But to his dismay, Ruperto Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Calvino was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Dante Dubardo made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sunampa AFC's Christian Manuelo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Villa Laguna F. C.'s Dante Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match, Ruperto Rozarius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Manuelo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ruperto Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Villa Laguna F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Rozarius couldn't finish the play. When Christian Estevon fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Laguna F. C.'s protests and gave Christian Estevon a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Villa Laguna F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Christian Estevon. Mariano Ur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Macerio. Villa Laguna F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 85 minutes, Roque Micael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunampa AFC and the Villa Laguna F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Villa Laguna F. C.'s Ezequiel Jaunzuria was substituted for 潘烽庭. In the 86th match minute, Sunampa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Micael to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes, Apolo Canor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Laguna F. C. and the Sunampa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over Villa Laguna F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sunampa AFC throughout the match.
