Spectators: 7149 (Terracing: 5363, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 142) Villa Santa Rita's Cristobal Lico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Villa Santa Rita got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Mouricio. Pegaso FC's Dante Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Pirro charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Pirro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pegaso FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Esteban Pirro hit a great ball. Paolo Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Lico in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Paulin saved Pegaso FC from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Villa Santa Rita's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Rumaldo came free, but Camilo Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villa Santa Rita's Enzo Mouricio got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Cristobal Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Cristobal Lico made a precise shot to the right of Paolo Paulin. Pegaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Celedonio Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Rumaldo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Enzo Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Igor Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Rubio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Rumaldo in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Severo Rumaldo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Villa Santa Rita's Camilo Pitin. Camilo Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Esteban Pirro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Pitin. Villa Santa Rita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Pirro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Celedonio Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Santa Rita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Celedonio Camerino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Santa Rita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 73 minutes into the match, Villa Santa Rita's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Rumaldo came free, but Camilo Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Paulin came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Santa Rita's Celedonio Camerino. But to his dismay, Celedonio Camerino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Celedonio Camerino took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Paulin. Paolo Paulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Celedonio Camerino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Paolo Paulin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Villa Santa Rita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristobal Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Santa Rita's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Lico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Lico in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paolo Paulin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paolo Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pegaso FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villa Santa Rita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
