Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ovidio Laurgain started the match with the kick off. When Ulises Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the asd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Alonso couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute Ovidio Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Godoy made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ulises Alonso sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Raimundo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Guillermo Salvatore in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Vicenza Calcio's Cipriano Derwin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ulises Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Vicenza Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. If Guillermo Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Alonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Alonso ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vicenza Calcio getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Esteban Martxel hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Salvatore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Vicenza Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Derwin to maneuver through the defense. In the 56thth minute of the game Ulises Alonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vicenza Calcio's Jonathan Godoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, asd's Ulises Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Godoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulises Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Saul Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Ovidio Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. asd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 76th minute, but Raimundo Bernat got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving asd hanging dry this time. Leopoldo Seguinus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Bernat having to make a save. 80 minutes into the match, Vicenza Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Laurgain came free, but Jonathan Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Seguinus in the 89th minute. asd's Raimundo Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Salvatore in the 91st minute of play. Guillermo Salvatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Raimundo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leopoldo Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
