The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramon Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Bernebe in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Mosen saved Cantadero from getting behind. The supporters of CABA booed when Cantadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. CABA's Higinio Bernebe got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Mino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Teo Mosen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ovidio Matia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Hever in the 22nd minute of play forced CABA's goalkeeper Raimundo Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CABA's Raimundo Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Hever in the 24th minute of play. If Dario Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Matia during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, one of CABA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CABA. Norberto Eguntsenti placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Higinio Bernebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Raimundo Guillem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Benigno Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Guillem had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Dario Hever from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Flavio Bertol hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Teo Mosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Bernebe in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes Cantadero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidio Matia who took care of the corner kick. Ovidio Matia made a great header on CABA's corner, it was just that Cantadero's Teo Mosen managed to reach the ball for a save.
