Spectators: 7132 (Terracing: 5350, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Mojotoro's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Blasi came free, but Zacarias Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palermo United FC's Bruninho Seco got a free kick in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Llin in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Luzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Blasi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Zacarias Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo United FC. In the 17th match minute, Palermo United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. If Jeronimo Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Guaberto Louis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vicente Mikelar. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mojotoro's zone, Rigoberto Llin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Luzea came out of the goal and Rigoberto Llin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo United FC's Vicente Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Manni in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rigoberto Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Luzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mojotoro's Jaime Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Seco in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Palermo United FC booed when Mojotoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jeronimo Manni fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mojotoro's protests and gave Jeronimo Manni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute Vladimiro Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Llin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Palermo United FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Berbiz. After 52 minutes, Bruninho Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo United FC and the Mojotoro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palermo United FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bruninho Seco hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Mojotoro's Jaime Tomi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Mikelar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mojotoro reached it. The supporters of Mojotoro booed when Palermo United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Guaberto Louis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mojotoro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Tomi in the 67th minute of play forced Palermo United FC's goalkeeper Vicente Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Luzea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernan Bihar. Mojotoro's Zacarias Luzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mojotoro from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Rigoberto Llin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Rigoberto Llin rounded Mojotoro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Mojotoro's Zacarias Luzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mojotoro from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Llin in the 94th minute of play forced Mojotoro's goalkeeper Zacarias Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Luzea having to interfere. Mojotoro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
