After 14 minutes of play, Lobisones's Nicolas Ranolfo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Piorno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romulo Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Fernendo in the 19th minute of the match. Epifanio Herena hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. LIBERTADOR's Romulo Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Fernendo in the 26th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in LIBERTADOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Romulo Piorno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Ranolfo in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Jaunti to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Jaunti in the 61st minute of play. LIBERTADOR's Romulo Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Ranolfo in the 64th minute of play. Romulo Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Ranolfo in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Ranolfo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Piorno saved LIBERTADOR from getting behind. If Nicolas Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, LIBERTADOR's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Fernendo came free, but Romulo Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIBERTADOR's goalkeeper Romulo Piorno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Baldomiro Jaunti fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIBERTADOR's protests and gave Baldomiro Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lobisones booed when LIBERTADOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes LIBERTADOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roque Soin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Roque Soin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romulo Piorno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute Romeo Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolas Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Piorno having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the LIBERTADOR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lobisones.
