The tension between the Banfield and the Senillosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 16 minutes into the match, Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Vimaro came free, but Erubiel Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Banfield defense, Leonides Calvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Eder. The Banfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Eder should have stopped the shot. Erubiel Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Agachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Serafin Sayvion's late challenge caught a Senillosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Sayvion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Serafin Sayvion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Sayvion to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Senillosa FC booed when Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Eder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonides Calvino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. In the 65th minute, Serafin Sayvion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Eriberto Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristian Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Basualdo in the 91st minute of the match. Cristian Vinhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Walme went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Senillosa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
