After a rather tough play, Guido's Arnulfo Serapio got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guido's zone, Betão Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Giro came out of the goal and Betão Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sergei Anachkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Israel Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espeleta's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Giro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Giro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Giro scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Giro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Israel Giro made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Guido's Emanuel Giro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Betão Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Espeleta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Miranda couldn't finish the play. Guido's Emanuel Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Miranda in the 85th minute of play. Florencio Ekain hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Guido's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Miranda came free, but Emanuel Giro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Guido's Emanuel Giro got control of the ball when Israel Giro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Espeleta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guido throughout the match.
