La Monroe's Anier Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Eliazar in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Monroe's Gaston Henrico got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Gaston Henrico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Naldo. Chacarita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Henrico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fidel Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Abel Enaut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Naldo, 2-0. The supporters of La Monroe booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Herceg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fidel Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Henrico in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Enaut came free, but Fidel Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Naldo made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Norbert Herceg sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Herceg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fidel Naldo made a huge save. Chacarita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Abel Enaut scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Naldo, making the score, 3-1. 47 minutes into the match, Abel Enaut notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Chacarita FC's Fidel Naldo. Fidel Naldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Anier Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Barbosa in the 55th minute of play. Fidel Naldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Henrico's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Bernard came free, but Fidel Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Sanchez in the 63rd minute of play. Gaston Henrico scored 5-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Naldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, La Monroe's Sergio Sanchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 74 minutes into the game, Norbert Herceg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Fidel Naldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norbert Herceg took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Naldo. Fidel Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Gaston Henrico took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Naldo. Luiz Gustavo Pontes made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Monroe's Geronimo Atarratze. There was no doubt that La Monroe were the better team. La Monroe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
