But to his dismay, Cornelio Bingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Cornelio Bingen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeronimo Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jose Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jeronimo Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Christopher Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Cornelio Gaxan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. chaca2011's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes De La Plata the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jose Koldo made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Tirso struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aurelio Reno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes De La Plata. In the 54th minute, Guido Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Koldo in the 56th minute of play. Jeronimo Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Koldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. chaca2011's Aurelio Reno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Tirso in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Astor Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Astor Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Reno made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Vicente Tirso sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to chaca2011 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cornelio Gaxan hit a great ball. Rogelio Urbes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Reno came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogelio Urbes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 81st minute. Aurelio Reno was a little too slow when Vicente Tirso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-2. Vicente Tirso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Aurelio Reno made a huge save. After 90 played minutes chaca2011 got a freekick which was hit by Guido Eladio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Tirso in the 94th minute of play forced chaca2011's goalkeeper Aurelio Reno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
