Extremo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gualterio Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Salomone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Antonio Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Salomone having to interfere. Gualterio Balesio charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Balesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hermengildo Prejun came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ciriaco Pueblo could save by the left post. Angel Fagildo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Extremo F.C.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Izydor Zgonina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gualterio Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izydor Zgonina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Gualterio Balesio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sauce's Ciriaco Pueblo didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Beremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sauce's Izydor Zgonina in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Antonio Valentine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute, Hermengildo Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Extremo F.C.'s Gualterio Salomone got control of the ball when Antonio Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sauce's Antonio Valentine got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Valentine made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 88thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gualterio Salomone would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Gualterio Salomone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Valentine in the 96th minute. When the match was over Sauce could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Extremo F.C. throughout the match.
