If Rigoberto Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justino Firman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Estación fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Firman couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Montes in the 85th minute of play. When Maximo Oxarra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. The supporters of Estación booed when Los Borbotones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Estación's Rigoberto Gustau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaspar Dacio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estación reached it. In the 98th minute, Melquiades Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estación fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Borbotones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
