Spectators: 7035 (Terracing: 5369, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Justo Cordara got the match started through his kick off. Tiburcio Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Elia having to interfere. Apolo Elia was a little too slow when Gaston Cuarto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Beremundo got free with Apolo Elia in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Cordara in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Chorillo FC's Apolo Elia got control of the ball when Americo Berasko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaston Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Elia having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Tandil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Rosario to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil AFC's zone, Justo Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Mundo came out of the goal and Justo Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Americo Berasko notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chorillo FC's Apolo Elia. Apolo Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicanor Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Guter scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicanor Mundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Chorillo FC's Alberto Shepherd seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alberto Shepherd the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chorillo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alberto Shepherd had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Tandil AFC's Leonides Beremundo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Apolo Elia. Dario Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Chorillo FC's Fausto Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Mundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Americo Berasko made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Berasko in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Elia saved Chorillo FC from getting behind. Fausto Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Mundo was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Nemesio Acosta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Acosta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. 61 minutes into the match, Gaston Cuarto notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Chorillo FC's Apolo Elia. Apolo Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leonides Beremundo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tandil AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Beremundo couldn't finish the play. Apolo Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tandil AFC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Chorillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Beremundo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Raimundo Donostia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 71st match minute, Chorillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Elia having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Tandil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Donostia. Chorillo FC's Fausto Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Gonchan got free with Nicanor Mundo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Fausto Guter in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nicanor Mundo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorillo FC's Fausto Guter. But to his dismay, Fausto Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Fausto Guter struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nicanor Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorillo FC. Chorillo FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tandil AFC had controlled the match.
