The referee ignored UNION F.C's protests and gave Rosendo Basajaun a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UNION F.C's Rosendo Basajaun got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the UNION F.C defense, Pål Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Dunixi. The UNION F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Ateneo Don Bosco's Albano Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ateneo Don Bosco from getting a goal against them. UNION F.C's Elias de Almeida was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dario Gudesteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Albano Santana made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Albano Santana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Fermin Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th play minute Adolfo Rayman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albano Santana. 3-1. Rosendo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 68 minutes, Zeledon Cisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ateneo Don Bosco and the UNION F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave UNION F.C a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aaron Chepe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ateneo Don Bosco's Albano Santana. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nemesio Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ateneo Don Bosco's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Pere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 唐凌伟 lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 77th minute, one of Ateneo Don Bosco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ateneo Don Bosco. Lucas Jusepe took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Santana. Albano Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Albano Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ateneo Don Bosco's Albano Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias de Almeida in the 97th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ateneo Don Bosco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! The referee gave UNION F.C a penalty, 101 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aaron Chepe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ateneo Don Bosco's Albano Santana. 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ateneo Don Bosco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UNION F.C.
