Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) When Apolo Eufemio came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Potrerillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Eufemio couldn't finish the play. When Froilan Lekubegi fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillo FC's protests and gave Froilan Lekubegi a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Potrerillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Lekubegi. In the 8th minute, Segundo Frisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Hernando made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Honorio Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Potrerillo FC's Froilan Lekubegi got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Froilan Lekubegi off the ground. Alberto Fonda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gregorio Hernando. Potrerillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venancio Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Honorio Lizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Arano's late challenge caught a Lourdes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Arano helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the game, one of Potrerillo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gregorio Hernando had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Alberto Fonda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Saul Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Potrerillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Fanuco came free, but Gregorio Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Saul Fanuco made the kick off in the second half. Apolo Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Feliu having to interfere. Apolo Eufemio might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Feliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Fanuco in the 70th minute of play forced Potrerillo FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hernando having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lourdes AFC's zone, Apolo Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Feliu came out of the goal and Apolo Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Simon Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Olentzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Feliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lourdes AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
