Mario Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Cerilo in the 3rd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Uniontate's Witalis Kluska made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Ferman in the 18th minute of play forced C.A La Maquinita's goalkeeper Mario Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, C.A La Maquinita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Mario Clemencin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ignacio Steven came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A La Maquinita's Jaime Pacho. But to his dismay, Jaime Pacho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Ferman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Uniontate got a freekick which was hit by Moises Ferman. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marcial Etor made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Ferman in the 53rd minute of play forced C.A La Maquinita's goalkeeper Mario Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Uniontate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Steven should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Moises Ferman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uniontate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 90th minute of the match Bernardo Nafarroa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Clemencin skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the match, C.A La Maquinita's Jaime Pacho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Steven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A La Maquinita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
