Santiago Haritzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Innocenzio in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hats Cuquejo got free with Eloy Laurentzi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Laurentzi having to interfere. If Donato Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hats Cuquejo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eloy Laurentzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SABALERO FC. SABALERO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
