The supporters of Alcorta AFC booed when Brea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcorta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Urdaspal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Urdaspal in the 11th minute of the match. Ramon Arce's late challenge caught a Brea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Arce helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alcorta AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ramon Arce hit a great ball. Daniel Macerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Urdaspal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Teofilo Ubelteso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brea's Daniel Macerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Ubelteso in the 27th minute of play forced Brea's goalkeeper Daniel Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Cirilo Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Brea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alcorta AFC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Karmel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Macerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cirilo Urdaspals short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Daniel Macerio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Deon Howard fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorta AFC's protests and gave Deon Howard a yellow card for diving instead. Alcorta AFC played a much better game than Brea and deserved their victory. The Brea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
