Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Hans Näver made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Näver in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Calisto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute, Primitivo Nerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Don Carmelo Batata booed when López was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Calisto having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Tobias Jaunti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Carmelo Batata and the López players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tobias Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hans Näver scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Calisto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Urbes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by López's Santo Egun. But to his dismay, Santo Egun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristian Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Jaunti in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the López defense, Hans Näver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Calisto. The López fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Calisto should have stopped the shot. Santo Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Virgilio Ferrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Don Carmelo Batata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave López the free kick. Virgilio Ferrando kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Samuel Urbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Sandalio in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tobias Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Don Carmelo Batata's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Primitivo Nerio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Don Carmelo Batata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Nerio couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Hans Näver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Calisto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Sandalio made a kick off. López's Cristian Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Nerio in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, López's goalkeeper Cristian Calisto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Jaunti. Cristian Calisto was a little too slow when Hans Näver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. Primitivo Nerio struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Cristian Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Carmelo Batata. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind López's goalkeeper Cristian Calisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, López was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Orland to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes López got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Berdaitz. Cristian Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When López's Albino Sandalio in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
