Melquiades Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adan Arano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Arnoldo Nardo 30 minutes into the match. Vilelas's Melquiades Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Betadur in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Juggernaut got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Ostadar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Arano in the 36th minute of play forced Juggernaut's goalkeeper Arnoldo Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Felix Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juggernaut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilelas the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Juggernaut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Illan to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Arano in the 38th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Betadur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tiburcio Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juggernaut's protests and gave Tiburcio Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Juggernaut got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Lluc. Arnulfo Ostadar came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Rico could save by the left post. Arnoldo Nardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Gartzi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 70th play minutes Humberto Gartzi shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Arnoldo Nardo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Adan Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Nardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Arano's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Humberto Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Adan Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Arano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Nardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilelas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
