Mariano Truylos came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiburcio Lain slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Andres Nevada. Everardo Oriche hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Luke in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Fidencio saved Etruria AFC from getting behind. In the 30th minute Baldomero Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Etruria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Paublo. C.A. Independiente's Mariano Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Lain in the 35th minute of play. C.A. Independiente's Mariano Truylos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Javier Valentine's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariano Truylos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiburcio Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Ignacio Oinatz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Etruria AFC's Silvestre Tulio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, C.A. Independiente's Mariano Truylos got control of the ball when Javier Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Luke to make the kick off. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Etruria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hipolito Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Harriet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mariano Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Fero came free, but Mariano Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Hipolito Luke notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Etruria AFC's Constantino Fidencio. Constantino Fidencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Etruria AFC's Tiburcio Lain got a free kick in the 84th minute. Constantino Fidencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Dimo in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Valentine came free, but Mariano Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nicasio Ado took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Truylos. Mariano Truylos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Etruria AFC had played much better football throughout.
