Armando Rencio's late challenge caught a Galacticos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Rencio helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Rencio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, František Miko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebastian Astrada, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Severo Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moldes's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Eduino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Moldes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Armando Rencio hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Geronimo Clis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Galacticos FC's Geronimo Clis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Astrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moldes's Sebastian Astrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Clis in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Moldes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Enekoitz to make the kick off. Galacticos FC's Eliseo Eduino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Galacticos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Severo Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Clis in the 77th minute of play. Severo Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliseo Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Martxelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Miko in the 96th minute of play forced Moldes's goalkeeper Sebastian Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galacticos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
