After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Genaro Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENEIZES's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Sotil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Matro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CrAvEnS booed when XENEIZES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Fidel Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Silban in the 41st minute of play forced XENEIZES's goalkeeper Nicanor Musko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
