Moreno FC's Florencio Urti got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CUERVO booed when Moreno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CUERVO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moreno FC were winning 1-2.

After 52 minutes of play, CUERVO's Cosme Pinto made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Florencio Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 68th minute of the match Hipolito Gai completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
