If Romeo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Txartiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Flavio Aurken's late challenge caught a Naranjito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Aurken helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quirós's Flavio Aurken got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Quirós defense, Benicio Cordarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Roano. The Quirós fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Roano should have stopped the shot. When Quirós's Romeo Pietro in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Naranjito's goalie prevented a goal. Amado Txartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Pietro in the 72nd minute of the match. Quirós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Benicio Cordarius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elpidio Roano. Benicio Cordarius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Thanks to some nice moves Benicio Cordarius could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Elpidio Roano however easily saved by the left post. Naranjito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
