Camilo Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Thomas having to interfere. Tomás Thomas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Aurken went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angel Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Roano having to interfere. Angel Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elpidio Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Romeo Pietro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Thomas. Campobasso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Pietro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Camilo Liberto came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Quirós fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Liberto couldn't finish the play. Tomás Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Edelmiro Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Romeo Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Campobasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Aurken came free, but Tomás Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Campobasso FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulo Blai hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Quirós's Camilo Liberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angel Tolino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elpidio Roano made a huge save. Elpidio Roano made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Angel Tolino sent off a good shot on target. The Campobasso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quirós were winning 0-2.

With a little luck, Campobasso FC's Tomás Thomas got control of the ball when Camilo Liberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Quirós's Tomás Thomas threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romeo Pietro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Angel Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Kenneth Skogen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Tolino in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Tolino in the 60th minute of play forced Quirós's goalkeeper Elpidio Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Aurken charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Aurken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quirós's Flavio Aurken got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Kenneth Skogen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campobasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Skogen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Roano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the game, Campobasso FC's Angel Tolino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Angel Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Quirós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Aurken to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Quirós's zone, Angel Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Roano came out of the goal and Angel Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Elpidio Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Tolino in the 87th minute of play. Sixto Otsando's late challenge caught a Campobasso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Otsando helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Quirós's zone, Kenneth Skogen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Roano came out of the goal and Kenneth Skogen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 played minutes Quirós got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Aurken. Chants of Quirós echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Campobasso FC had held the ball for most of the match.
