When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Melchor Teyo sped through Yatasto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Placido Emmanuel. Felippe Colazo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Ledesma in the 35th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Teyo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Melchor Teyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Independiente F.C's Rogelio Domiku got a free kick in the 86th minute. It was beautiful to see Independiente F.C's Daniel Beltxe in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Independiente F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
