Spectators: 7068 (Terracing: 5303, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Martinez started the match with the kick off. Marco Martinez might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over German Resto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Martinez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute of the match Naipe got a corner. Liberia Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Incendio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Naipe's Jose Incendio to fire away a dangerous shot which German Resto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Liberia Lions's Albino Favila got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Naipe's Marco Martinez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Resto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Naipe's Genaro Lobo got control of the ball when Segundo Hats tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Segundo Hats from a close distance when the talented Genaro Lobo managed to make a qualified save. Naipe's players were relieved. In the 29th minute, Jose Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Segundo Hats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liberia Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Liberia Lions's German Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Ipar in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ezequiel Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Argider during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Argider hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Segundo Hats came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Genaro Lobo could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Casomiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Marco Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Naipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Martinez couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Esteve Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Hats in the 67th minute of play forced Naipe's goalkeeper Genaro Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Marco Martinez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Liberia Lions's German Resto. German Resto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Marco Martinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Evelio Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Liberia Lions got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Segio. German Resto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Naipe's Marco Martinez. But to his dismay, Marco Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Marco Martinez had several of the Liberia Lions's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed German Resto as he didn't even see the shot coming.
