The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Gilberto Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Bernat in the 7th minute of play forced Liberia Lions's goalkeeper German Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Constantino Gorka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. German Resto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Uguay FC's Abelardo Bernat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Resto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Abelardo Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uguay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Bernat struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. German Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uguay FC. Segundo Hats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Bernat in the 35th minute of play forced Liberia Lions's goalkeeper German Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uguay FC's Teobaldo Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Uguay FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Favila during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Liberia Lions's German Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Gorka in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Casomiro in the 47th minute of play forced Uguay FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Constantino Gorka made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Liberia Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Segio to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Resto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Constantino Gorka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. German Resto came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Uguay FC's Abelardo Bernat. But to his dismay, Abelardo Bernat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Constantino Gorka came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Uguay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Gorka couldn't finish the play. Evelio Segio's late challenge caught a Uguay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Segio helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Segio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Gorka in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Resto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Uguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Casomiro came free, but Teobaldo Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Astigar having to interfere. Uguay FC played a much better game than Liberia Lions and deserved their victory. The Liberia Lions players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
