Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stig Sander took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Roberto Silbestre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Claudio Lluis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Roberto Silbestre fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Cavernicolas S.F.'s protests and gave Roberto Silbestre a yellow card for diving instead. Gogo Cordeara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Stig Sander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gogo Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Teofilo Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Los Cavernicolas S.F. got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Silbestre. Gogo Cordeara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Uriel Mazuste showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Stig Sander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Gogo Cordeara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Sander got free with Gogo Cordeara in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes, Aris Ziakas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Los Cavernicolas S.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aris Ziakas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Los Cavernicolas S.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Los Cavernicolas S.F.'s goalkeeper Gogo Cordeara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Sander. Independiente's Claudio Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Tono in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Fermin Mancio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gogo Cordeara was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Uriel Mazuste capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Uriel Mazuste really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Mero was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Los Cavernicolas S.F. got a freekick which was hit by Blas Ramond. In the 54th minute of the match Uriel Mazuste sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Cordeara skillfully saved the ball. Uriel Mazuste succeeded in the game's 54th minute to get real power on a long shot . Los Cavernicolas S.F.'s Gogo Cordeara hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-1! Gogo Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Sander in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Independiente's Stig Sander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gogo Cordeara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Sander in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Cordeara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69thth minute of the game Stig Sander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Cavernicolas S.F.'s Gogo Cordeara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Eudoxio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gogo Cordeara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. In the 74thth minute of the game Stig Sander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Cavernicolas S.F.'s Gogo Cordeara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Uriel Mazuste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After 79 played minutes Los Cavernicolas S.F. got a freekick which was hit by Blas Ramond. In the 84th minute, Stig Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gogo Cordeara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Sander's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute Uriel Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Sander scored 7-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gogo Cordeara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
