Ulises Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Tomas Ubelteso put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ulises Raebert. If Ignacio Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicasio Mano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Oliva FC's Tomas Ubelteso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 38 minutes, Tomas Ubelteso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliva FC and the Arminda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Tomas Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Oliva FC booed when Arminda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Theodore might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Raebert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Theodore ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Ubelteso made a kick off. Ulises Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Ubelteso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arminda FC's Felipe Peli got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Apolo Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oliva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Theodore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Raebert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Ubelteso's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The Oliva FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Oliva FC's Tomas Ubelteso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 65 minutes into the match, Arminda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ayala came free, but Ulises Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Apolo Theodore made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Raebert. Arminda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Ulises Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ulises Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Ubelteso might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Raebert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Ubelteso ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinicio Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Raebert having to interfere. If Vinicio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oliva FC's Manuel Ayala got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Oliva FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
