The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Ariando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucio Palben firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aureliano Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Villada AFC booed when Yerba brava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Lucio Palben made a huge save. Lucio Palben made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Natalio Ariando sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Villada AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cleto Calvino hit a great ball. With 19 minutes on the clock, 俞响勇 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Maximiliano Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anastasio Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yerba brava. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Calvino in the 27th minute of play forced Yerba brava's goalkeeper Lucio Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Miro lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yerba brava fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Lucio Palben, was totally fooled by Villada AFC's Leo Gau, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yerba brava's Lucio Palben proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Yerba brava from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes of play, Yerba brava's Bernabe Haritzeder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Goren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Palben having to interfere. If Aureliano Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Gau to strike the kick off in the second half. Villada AFC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Yerba brava's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Sol took the corner. Esteban Sol made a great header on Villada AFC's corner, it was just that Yerba brava's Lucio Palben managed to reach the ball for a save. Simon Maraman's late challenge caught a Villada AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Maraman helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Villada AFC's Leo Gau in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yerba brava's goalie prevented a goal. When Teofilo Danel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Yerba brava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Danel couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Villada AFC's goalkeeper Anastasio Goren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Danel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Gau in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Palben saved Yerba brava from getting behind. Lucio Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 90th minute, Natalio Ariando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Palben stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Gau's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Gau in the 96th minute of play forced Yerba brava's goalkeeper Lucio Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
