Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Centeno FC's Amador Vimaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Vimaro in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Gilen saved Ciénaga from getting behind. The supporters of Ciénaga booed when Centeno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Vimaro scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Gilen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amador Vimaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Gilen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Amador Vimaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Gilen. Ciénaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Vimaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
If Reynaldo Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Celedonio Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Elpidio Aballe in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Centeno FC's Florencio Bakar. When Amador Vimaro came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Centeno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Vimaro couldn't finish the play. Rafael Lozano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Gilen having to make a save. A collision led to Ciénaga getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Epifanio Florin hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Centeno FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Bakar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Mendebal in the 69th minute of play forced Centeno FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ciénaga's Amadeo Ferman got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Vimaro in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Gilen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Centeno FC's Joaquin Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Mendebal in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Amador Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Gilen having to interfere. Centeno FC's Joaquin Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Mendebal in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Centeno FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
