If Eloy Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Ramos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Mederi. In the 8th minute of the match Adrian Gartxot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Breogan skillfully saved the ball. With 10 minutes on the clock, Ambrosio Inocente commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Ramos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Millonario F.C:s goal. Mario Liberto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Eloy Gaufred took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Generoso Breogan to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute of the match, Ariel Chuse got a very nice opportunity to score, but Generoso Breogan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eloy Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Breogan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Eloy Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Gaufred took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Breogan. Generoso Breogan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Chuse got free with Generoso Breogan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eloy Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Breogan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Millonario F.C booed when Ramos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Lugo having to interfere. Ariel Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abelardo Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Godfredo Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Salvidor was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Millonario F.C's zone, Abelardo Salvidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Lugo came out of the goal and Abelardo Salvidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Salvidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Lugo having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ramos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Generoso Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gaufred in the 76th minute of play. After 80 minutes Ramos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Liberto who took care of the corner kick. If Abelardo Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lauro Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Lugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abelardo Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Salvidor in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Eloy Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Millonario F.C booed when Ramos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes, Millonario F.C's German Tolino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Generoso Breogan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Millonario F.C reached it. The Millonario F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
