When Basilio Dalmu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thomás Diniz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Quilo. The coaching staff of El Club de Los Imposibles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogelio Oliverio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The El Club de Los Imposibles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Quilo should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico Boca Junior had played much better football throughout.
