The coaching staff of Cevallos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristian Telesforo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Cevallos FC booed when Wanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Cordaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Chuse went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Gorbea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Gomesano was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Reynaldo Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Cevallos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Erlantz came free, but Clodoveo Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanda's Gilberto Chuse was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clodoveo Cordaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute, Victoriano Gorbea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Gomesano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Wanda were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
