Paso a Paso FC's Ildefonso Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rocendo in the 6th minute of play. Oscar Jatsus short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Isaac Mattin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isaac Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Paso a Paso FC booed when Landeta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ildefonso Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Mattin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Jatsu in the 25th minute. Ildefonso Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Fonso in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Landeta FC's Fernan Lauaxeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Ereinotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Faustino Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Flavio Ekialde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landeta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 44th minute, Faustino Fonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Tomás Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Oliverios's late challenge caught a Paso a Paso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelino Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After the first half Landeta FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Primitivo Tome made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Fonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ildefonso Ereinotz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Tome in the 59th minute of play forced Paso a Paso FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Paso a Paso FC's Ciro Hurko got a free kick in the 60th minute. Flavio Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paso a Paso FC's zone, Faustino Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Ereinotz came out of the goal and Faustino Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Tomás Rocendo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ildefonso Ereinotz. The goal made the score 0-4. Isaac Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Landeta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Jatsu came free, but Isaac Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Primitivo Tome took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ildefonso Ereinotz to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes in the game, Primitivo Tome fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ildefonso Ereinotz having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Tomás Rocendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landeta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Rocendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Primitivo Tome took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ildefonso Ereinotz to make any attempt to save it. Landeta FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
