Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Gonzo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Amado Llin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Conrado Gonzo sped through Chaviyú's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaston Harri. Romulo Frances hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Garikoitz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cercado booed when Chaviyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Cercado's Conrado Gonzo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Harri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaston Harri came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cercado's Félix Faine. But to his dismay, Félix Faine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Chaviyú defense, Conrado Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Harri. The Chaviyú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Harri should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Cercado's Conrado Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Harri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Lino Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Chaviyú's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Gonzo came free, but Gaston Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cercado's Eulalio Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Garikoitz in the 63rd minute of play. If Félix Faine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaston Harri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Harri having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Marco Marko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Abeita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eulalio Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Garaona in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Jesus Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix Faine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Félix Faine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Harri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Cercado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chaviyú throughout the match.
