The penalty shot was made by Godofredo Mouricio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Campbell's Ceferino Isauro. 0-1. Nicolas Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Serafin Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Bizen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Ceferino Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Bizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Desiderio Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Isauro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Octavio Bizen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceferino Isauro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Campbell's Silvestre Galindo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 28 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Tonete. Campbell's Inocencio Bela couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Metán. In the 33rd minute, Octavio Bizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Campbell defense, Desiderio Eudoxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Isauro. The Campbell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Isauro should have stopped the shot. If Nicolas Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serafin Igon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Galindo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 46 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Goito during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Goito hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Octavio Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Isauro having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Campbell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Goito to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Metán booed when Campbell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvestre Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Campbell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Galindo couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes of play, Campbell's Silvestre Galindo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafin Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Galindo in the 67th minute of play. Silvestre Galindo scored 4-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Igon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Bizen in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Silvestre Galindo notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Metán's Serafin Igon. Serafin Igon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvestre Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Igon having to interfere. Serafin Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Serafin Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Igon came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Campbell's Eduardo Goito. But to his dismay, Eduardo Goito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campbell fully deserved thier win.
